THE POLITICS OF GENOCIDE

The brutal and bloody incursion by Hamas out of Gaza carries massive international repercussions.

The evacuation warning came shortly after dark. The Israeli military fired the shot just a short distance from Nasser Abu Quta’s home in the southern Gaza Strip, a precautionary measure meant to allow people to evacuate before airstrikes.

The rockets began around 6:30 a.m., Tal Gibly told CNN. Thirty minutes later, she and hundreds of others attending an Israeli music festival were running as Gaza militants fired at them.

Humanity is in a spiral of crises that has been referred to as a ‘polycrisis’. From the environment and climate to poverty and hunger, these myriad issues are ultimately rooted in the failures of capitalism. One element of the polycrisis is the deepening problems of gender inequality and violence against women. This must be dealt with through concerted struggle against patriarchy and the capitalist system as a whole.
