Therefore, organized revolutionary action is of urgent NECESSITY. Whether you’re in Algeria fighting for liberation or in a prison cell in California, we are ALL victims of global capitalism (imperialism). As they emphasized, liberation must have an international vision or risk reproducing the very oppressive structures they seek to escape. It’s also important to note that Fanon was specifically referring to the relationship between the colonized and the colonizer. George Jackson though, applied that concept to the United States. Seeing the US as the imperial core that housed an internal “black colony.” In weakening that core from the inside, the empires global reach diminishes! It’s time for international scientific socialism! What are your thoughts? Did George and Fanon have it right? What are the roles of violence, spontaneity, and nationalism in the context of revolution? Do we need international socialism everywhere all at once? References used in video for further readings: 1) Wretched of the Earth - Frantz Fanon 2) Blood in My Eye - George Jackson #frantzfanon #georgejackson #socialism #capitalism #communism".

"We were told that violence in itself is evil, and that, whatever the cause, it is unjustified morally. By what standard of morality can the violence used by a slave to break his chains be considered the same as the violence of a slave master?" - Walter Rodney [1920 x 1920]
